WOW I am glad that they found out what it was! And I wish her a speedy recovery! I was thinking of switching Harley to a raw diet but we are going to talk to our new vet about it first. There is so much to worry about isn't there. I am glad that she is on her way to a full recovery!

Oh, that poor dog!  Can you even imagine???  That's the only thing that keeps me from feeding raw (I did for a while) is the concern about parasites.  I now buy raw without bone and cook it.

How will they know when the worm 'passes'?  Is that what kept him from even wanting to drink water?  How scary!  Let us know she does!!  Sending lots of good wishes!!

thye dont feed her exclusively raw, just treats which means it probably wasnt frozen first.  I feed raw too but mine gets frozen for wks before i feed it so from what i ahve been told that should fix any parasite issues.

Let alone the enormous tapeworm, why would the vomit be the blue-ish color?  Just curious.

Possibly the color is just bile as she is probably obstructed and this loch ness monster is taking all her nurishment.  Digestive juices can take on different colors...not to worry as long as this THING as been discovered.... ..LUCKY GIRL!!   Good vet!!   She will be herself soon.  I am glad you took the time, energy and money to investigate this.  Kudos.

OH MY!! I feel kinda yucky. I dont even want to know how they will know when it passes. I wouldnt want to be them looking for it.
I am so happy though that they found the problem. At least it can be fixed.
