Rebekah, I contacted Kuvasz Fanciers of America about Bill Marshmallow.  Hopefully they will put him on their KFA Rescue site.  They have your email addy to contact you for more info on Bill.

I also contacted a gentleman in TN about Bill.  He's looking for a Kuvasz.
I also gave him your email address.

Well, right now Bill is "interviewing" to become the resident dog at a nursing home/rehabilitation center. So far it is going well, so hopefully everything will work out for him there.
Someone wanted to adopt him for livestock work but having been raised as a "people" dog, he did not do well with the other animals.

I think being a full time therapy dog might be Bill's calling! I hope to find out soon. :)

Oh I really hope this works out for Bill!  He seems like such a sweetie.  It would be really great for him to be a therapy dog...so much attention and he'd really be helping people too.   :)

That is wonderful!  What a great combination - dogs and nursing/rehab homes!  Hope it works out for him AND for the residents!  I wish more such homes would be open to having a pet living there with the residents.  It would be so great for the people and the dogs.
