Update on IZ - Anyone else have EPI ?

We went to the vet today. They are tesing him for EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency). They had to send the blood screen out and we won't know for 7 days or so. He tested negative for Hooks today - but he would after 12 days on Panacur. This is very concerning to us as he is still such a baby. Anyone else experience EPI before? Anything anyone can share?

Sheesh!!!!  I've never heard of it but am sending lots of good thoughts, prayers and crossed paws and fingers.  What is the treatment??

I've not had any personal experience but....well, if I remember correctly (and I'm pulling out of the archives) that it's a livable condition but he'll have to be on medication and special food for life.  I'm sending good vibes and thoughts.  Wish I was there to give you a hug.
