Okay...re. the thyroid test....that's a great idea! I know, with humans, that the thyroid values vary widely and also fluctuate. So you can be tested and it falls in the 'normal' range, but you still have symptoms. What then? You try actually taking thyroid to see if your symptoms are mitigated. In that case, you need thyroid. From what I understand, Synthroid is one of the cheapest drugs around....do you think Cody could just try it for a couple of weeks??? I have NO idea of this theory would hold true in the dog world...maybe your vet will just laugh his rear end right off....(interesting look...buttles
