Charleston trip, 2 more points, photos....

Away we went to Charleston, SC EARLY this morning to see if we could win the 2 points up for grabs today.

We did. Under Edd Biven again, and I also showed a puppy for the Robinsons that went Best Puppy.

So Penny now has 9 points, needs majors, at 18 months of age.

It was a gorgeous day and we took the dogs walking down on the battery today and hubby got a shot of us on one of the monuments....

He got a few shots in the ring too.

And he got a nice one of Shaka (BIS CH Carter's Noble Shaka Zulu, top winning Rottweiler of all time) too. He was Breed today, of course, and I had a chance to chat with Keith (his owner/breeder/handler) for a bit ringside.



All in all we had a great time, and coming home with 2 more points does not hurt a bit!

Wow! What an exciting day! And congratulation s! The dog show circuit is a rough thing, isnt it?  Used to show Shetland Sheepdogs many years ago, and it was fun and rewarding, but very hard work, too.  Your dogs are beautiful.

Congratulation s, Penny looks great! Good luck on the majors.  Is it hard for find majors in your area or do you have to travel for them?  It is killing me that I am going to miss the Atlanta show next week it is a 5 point major.   I am working on a list of show for Dixie.  We only need 14 more points,    Yes I know it is sad for a Mom to be so proud of 1 point, but you have to start somewhere.

It would be fun, if I did not have so many things going on.  Our next show will be Ft. Walton, Pensacola the first week of March.  There are two show in Ga. in April I would love to do. Montgomery is the last week of April, but I don't know if may Pyrs will be there since the Nationals are that week.  We plan to do Biloxi in May and July and then Atlanta in Aug. and Sept.  My goal if for Dixie to have 7 point by the end of the year.  She will turn 2 on 1-1-07 and I hope we are half way to our CH. by then.  Good luck in Greenville.  Oh, by the way it is great to have you back on BPO.
