Animal Rescue Site
« on: February 01, 2006, 10:51:43 am »
www.theanimalr escuesite.com

One of my friends forwarded me this site.  I put it in my favorites and go to click it every day.  I just wanted to put it on here to make it known to more animal lovers.  Funding for food is paid by site sponsors, whose banners appear after you click the purple button, and goes to the different shelters/sanctuaries (They mention the names on the page and there is a link to check them out).  Also th site has a site “store” with cute items and proceeds from any sales go to feed the animals as well.

Not only that, but at the top of the page there are tabs that take you to The Hunger Site, Breast Cancer Site, Child Health Site, Literacy Site and the Rainforest Site that all work the same way.  I think it takes me all of 2 minutes to click on all of them each day.  I did a search on Snopes.com to make sure it was ledgit and it is.

Just thought this would be a great place to spread the word! ;D

I never thought of checking snopes to see if it was legit.  I used to go there but kind of wondered after a while if it was doing anything worthwhile.  Guess I'll go back to it again!  Thanks!

Ok, even though I can't afford my rent, which was due yesterday, I ordered $60 worth of doggie items and I was able to "donate" 46 bowls of dog food! Yeah!!! Also, the breast cancer site is amazing, def. worth checking it out guys!

Ok- I have to share with you guys...
this bag that I ordered - IS PERFECT! ...not too big - not too small... I have a larger one that I use when I travel, but it's too big for "everyday" in & out of the car, etc.
This is really nice for those extra things that you have to take with that don't fit in your purse (I try to carry a small purse or just my wallet ), & the price was great - $9.95! Even better it will fund 14 bowls of food!
As I said, just thought I'd share a great find! ;)
-k.

ps. the t-shirt was cute too! (black with paws in the shape of a heart)
