This is the most in-depth, well researched article I've seen.  I had seen information on greenies before but it all seemed rather annecdotal and conflicting.  I was feeding our pup Freshies which are similar.  Asked our vet and he said they were safe.  Pup kept getting the runs which seemed to be connected to him getting into stuff he shouldn't.  One day I found a large chunk of freshie in his doggy doo and started to wonder.  Stopped feeding the Freshies and he's doing TONS better.  ::)
