Oh no!!! Blair how could you!!!! I had a feeling my day would come! Don't anybody get mad at me if I freak out from overload of questions! I do HORRIBLE during interviews!

What is your pet peeve?
Oh this is easy- being honked at or otherwise messed with while walking my dogs down the street. I nearly have a heart attack every time!


When did you realized you had such wonderful talent at drawing?
Hm, well I knew when I was 5 years old that I "wanted" to be an artist. And then in 3rd grade or so I had a pretty big ego about the horses and unicorns I could draw! LOL But I guess in middle and high school my art teachers gave me so much attention that I had to trust their word and assume I was good at drawing. I had some classmates who were always way better than me and I guess that fired me up, and in a way, that was a pet peeve of mine! Kids who were better artists than me!!!

What breed of dog would you love to own, that you dont already?
I like this question! IRISH WOLFHOUND!!!!

Green or purple most of my life. Then last year red. And now I am back to purple.

Ummm.. it will be 2 years on Mother's Day.

Will you ever have skin kids?
Now that we have 7 dogs I really don't want kids anymore! Two years ago I would have answered, yes, absolutely. But now, um, probably not.

What's your dream vacation?
Is the cost covered? I'd love to go back to Paris for a while and then down to the south of France... aren't there some beaches or something? But this time when I go to Europe my dogs will have to be kept in the most luxurious kennel known to man so they don't have anxiety while I am gone.

Will you ever own a pyr?
I am sure of it!

Describe your dream home?
2 stories, wooden house, old looking or actually an old renovated house, big covered front porch, front and back yard fenced in with 6 foot wrought iron fencing and huge gate out front, back yard has a gigantic labyrinth type garden with a fountain, lots of shrubs and huge oak trees somewhere on the property, inside has tall ceilings, hardwood floors, clawfoot bathtub... ahhhh....

Where would your dream home be located?
a coastal town.

Have you ever ridden a horse...if not would you?
Yes, I used to ride when I was younger and I had a paint horse named Jingo from the time I was 10 until I was 17. I loved riding bareback especially. I haven't ridden in quite a while but I would love to again.


What was your favorite subject in school...not including art?
In high school I really liked my girls weight training class!

What is your favorite type of popcorn?
Salted and BUTTERED!

What initially got you into fostering? And for how long have you been doing it?
Will works with a guy who's wife runs a canine rescue. She told him they were looking for someone to foster a great dane (Darwin). As soon as I found out she would let me do it, I was in- and I was hooked! That was about a year ago.

Do you have any siblings? Are they big dog lovers like you?
I have 3 sisters. My older sister has given away every dog she has ever had. She is not a good dog-mommy. My younger sisters love dogs. One has two mixed breeds and the other has a sweet pit bull.

Your first dog?
His name was Copper, he was a terrier/poodle mix. He was fantastic, he was our family dog for 14 years.

When did you decide to do dog portraits? The why is obvious!
I was working at a vet clinic and we had a painting hung on the wall of a husky. I thought I could do better, so I asked my boss if he would hang up some of my art. He said... maybe, if it's any good. So I did a portrait of a Bassett Hound, and today it is still hanging in that lobby! After folks saw my work , they wanted me to do portraits of their dogs. So I charged $35 for a portrait! I was 17 or 18 years old at the time.

When do you get time to do anything will all them pooches in the house?
I don't! I can't get a thing done!

What is your dream for the future?
Buy a house and stop renting! I basically want to keep living as I am living now but in my own house near the coast, I think I will always want to work at home doing artistic stuff and I would also like to get back into doing some animal healing work- Reiki and Acupressure, massage, that type of thing. And I want to start playing music again... I'd love to take violin or viola lessons. 

Who's the best cook in the house?
It sure ain't me unless pancakes is what's for dinner!!! I am the pancake queen!!!

Do you make your bed in the morning?
Heavens no.

If you could stay one age for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Probably something a little older than what I am now. I still get treated like a teenager even though I am 30 years old! I need some wrinkles or something!!!

Your favourite item of clothing?
I haven't really had a favorite item of clothing since Zoot chewed up my red silk sweater about 4 years ago.

8:00. Pretty typical for me.

Medium. Monday nights at 9 on NBC.

Ummm... that's a hard one! I enjoy food quite a bit. The only thing that comes to mind are those Japanese pickles at the sushi bar. I think they are called oshinko. YUCK!  
What is your favorite sandwich?
Grilled cheese on sourdough bread with onions and green peppers.
What characteristic s do you despise?
That is really hard to answer because I think I am pretty forgiving of people. I have been through some hard times and some bad phases myself, so it's difficult for me to get mad at other people, really and truly. But to go ahead and answer: disrespect and inconsideratio n bother me.
Favorite time of the day?
8:30 am. 
Your most memorable birthday?
My most memorable isn't necessarily my best. It was my 21st, and I was just sitting at a bar alone, the bartender giving me free drinks and feeling bad for me. My friends were supposed to go out with me but they never called me back.                          
Were you named after anyone?
I guess in a weird way I am named after someone in the Bible, although I don't really know "Rebekah"'s story, because my parents never really taught me any Bible stuff, and it's odd anyhow because my mom is not a religious woman at all. And I think she is the one who named me. So maybe it was just coincidence.
Do you like your handwriting?
Thank you for asking. I love my handwriting! 
If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you?
I guess it depends on what other person I was! But yes, I think so!
Do looks matter?
I have to say yes and no. I am an artist and I am visually obsessed. Seriously. So I am drawn very easily to things and people who are beautiful. (Have you ever seen a picture of Will?) But, someone can be great-looking and also be a big schmuck. So, yes I have been easily suckered in by looks before, but I am probably more attracted to inner beauty.
Favorite toy as a child?
Oh, there were many, it depends on what age. I had some stuffed animals who were very important to me, and Star Wars figures, and a billion model horses. I was very possessive of my toys as a child. I also had a toy truck which I loved very much when I was really little.
What class in High School was totally useless?
For me, math. I was good at it but oh how pointless!! (And now I am paying for it because I can barely add and subtract anymore!)
What are your nicknames?
Haha Doghealer, Beckula, Queen Beckula, Beck, Reba, Reebs, Reeber, Bekah, Beek, Beeker, B.K., and for the most part of my life I was called Becky but I really hated it because it does not fit my personality at all. My family still calls me Becky. Oh I hate it!!! 
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
Yes, I can't get them off otherwise.

Frnech Vanilla.

Kinda. There is one gal who I still email back and forth a little, and back when I still lived in Gwinnett I would run into childhood friends a lot! There are definitely some friends who I wish I was still in touch with.
did you attend your high school reunion?
No. I just didn't feel like it.
Have you ever met anyone famous?
Yes. I ate dinner with Michael Stipe and some other REM people one night in Athens. I have met some other famous musicians too, briefly, but Michael Stipe is by far the most famous person I have ever met.
Who is your favorite band/singer?
My favorite band of all time is U2.

80's music!!!!

Copper, my little childhood dog who was half poodle half terrier. I think he weighed about 15 pounds. Little sweetie.

Probably half empty, if I were to see it on the counter for example.

I'm gonna go with chicken here. I don't see how an egg would survive without a chicken on top of it incubating it. Right?

Are you kidding me??? SUMMER. I hate being cold!!!

Choke collar or pinch collar or halty or nylon or other?
How about hemp! All of my dogs wear hemp collars. As for training, I use hemp martingale collars, and on Nigel I do use a Halti, er, gentle leader.

favorite puppy experience?
The one that comes to mind was the first night I brought Turkey home, back when she was a foster and her name was Daisy. That night she slept on top of my head all night long. 

do your dogs like to be blown on?
Honestly, I don't think I have ever blown on them!

do you have a cat? if so, is it de-clawed? (just wondering about that!)
I have an amazing cat named Don Gato, and no he is not declawed! I would never have a cat declawed. I used to be a vet tech and the first time I helped out with a de-claw I litterally passed out and hit the floor. Will has two cats who live with us and they are not declawed either.

where is your hometown?
I consider my hometown to be Snellville, Ga. We moved there when I was 4 years old. Before that we were a few different places up north and I haven't lived back up there since. So Snellville it is.
