I met Will about 4 years ago when we were both playing music and our bands played together a few times! I was playing cello in a quiet acoustic band and he played drums in an art-rock band. We didn't hit it off right then, but a couple years later one of his old band mates became one of my best friends. I found out Will was in Nashville and he was playing in a new band. I went to one of his concerts, and this time, we hit it off... Within months I had moved to Nashville... and I was playing bass guitar in his band! Ha! Since then that band has fallen apart and I realize that the rock-n-roll lifestyle is not for me!
But it has definitely been worth it to move here.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a system of natural healing developed by a Japanese man maned Mikao Usui. It involves using the hands to focus healing energy to a person (or dog, etc.) to help support their body's natural ability to heal itself. To receive a session makes you feel really relaxed and almost like you are floating, you can feel an energy flow through your body and some people have visions. The word Reiki means "spiritually guided life-force energy". It's pretty awesome! I have earned the highest Reiki degree possible, so I am considered a "Reiki Master".

If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) and spend a day with them who would it be?
Wow this is tough, so I am going to go with my first impulse and say Sonia Choquette. She is an author and spiritual counselor and I adore her books. I would love to spend a day with her!

I am telling you, I LOVE 80's music!!! Especially Duran Duran.

Anywhere in the sunlight, but especially the beach.

Do you remember your first love?
I would have to say my first love was a kid named Kane Lester. I was in first grade. And yes, I really and truly felt I was in love. I remember it well. Chasing him on the playground, teasing him, hoping he would sit close by in the lunchroom... I had it bad for him. He was so cute! And he just happened to live down the road from a girlfriend of mine so I went to her house pretty often! Just hoping to get a glimpse of him!!!

The first thing you do in the morning (after peeing!)?
I wish the first thing I did in the morning was peeing!!! Noooo... the dogs pee first. Then they get fed. (I can do this sleepwalking.) Then the cats get fed. And the litterbox cleaned. Then I pee.

The last thing you do at night (not peeing!)?
The last thing I do at night is hand Will my empty whiskey glass/beer bottle/mug of hot chocolate and irish cream. 

What really irks you?
When the cats track kitty-litter out into the hallway and it gets stuck to the bottom of my bare feet. UGH!!!

If you had the urge to write a book, what would it be about?
Oooh yeah, this one is in the works! I want to write my own book about Reiki healing for animals. And I intend to!

Any wedding bells in the future?
You better ask Will that question!!! He says we are already married. And everyone calls him my husband anyway, so all we really need are some rings! We actually bought some cheap rings at Target one time so we would look properly married but the very first day, the fake diamonds started falling out of mine!!!  

If you could be anybody in this world, dead or alive, who?
Probably Penelope Smith, the famous animal communicator. I really need to talk to my dogs about a few things!

What do you consider a perfect evening?
It would have to involve dining out because I so love good food. And hopefully some wine and definitely some dessert. If it were the perfect evening it would be summertime, and there would be a walk after dinner, maybe some nice time spent in a coffee shop over a late latte, and then home to snuggle with dogs. Oh wow that sounds nice right now!!!

The Princess Bride.

Matt Damon at the moment.

Milla Jovovich.

Love it.

The only dancing I have ever seen Will do was really funny messing-around dancing. But he always used to say that he wanted to learn swing dancing.
What is the most romantic thing Will has done for you?
When we were long distance dating, he sent me a box full of wonderful things while I was in France so that I would come home to it. He had made me a mixed cd of romantic songs, and filled the box with all kinds of stuff that was just really sweet. It made me cry. I can barely remember what all was in there but I remember very well how it made me feel.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully in that dream house I keep talking about!! And near the ocean. In the sunlight. With plenty of money to spare so that I can spoil the heck out of my dogs.
Do you have any regrets?
I try try try not to regret anything, because it all led me to where I am now. But if I could go back I would change a lot. But then again, I guess every decision I ever made was doing what felt right at the time. But man oh man I wish I had never gotten that first credit card!!!
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being able to earn money doing what I love.
What has surprised you most about yourself?
I used to be a really negative angry person when I was a teenager and I think I successfuly turned my life around in a huge way.

Ah! I can't answer that! I've caought my dogs on BPO before and they might read this thread!!! All I can say is that I have had Zoot the longest and he is my boy.
