URGENT: Save an Ohio dog/puppy BEFORE TUESDAY -even if you can't adopt

The Columbiana County Dog Pound has some of the sweetest, most loveable dogs and puppies you'll ever meet. These are great pets. But each of these dogs is in desperate need of a home because they're all scheduled to be put to sleep on Tuesday, March 7th at 7am. But you can help.  I know what you're thinking. These dogs are in eastern Ohio and I'm in Buffalo. First, you CAN still adopt or rescue; transportation to Buffalo might just be possible (where there's a will, there's usually a way - especially when it comes to saving pets!). Second, even if you can't adopt, you can sponsor a dog (offer to pay for its adoption and basic vet fees), which makes the dog much more likely to be adopted!!! call or email the pound for details.
Here are some of this week's Columbiana Crew:
***Lab Retriever/Shepherd (male #0307) - beautiful white/tan coat with black highlights and a sweet face
***Shepherd/Husky (male #1007) - sweet shepherd face with the black and white coloring of a sled dog. Truly unique.
***Labrador Retriever (male #1107) - jet black with a white bib and chest.
***Hound/Shepherd (male #1207) - This guy's not quite as big as the others, and might even have some beagle in him. Very, very cute.
***Chow Chow (male #1807) - jet black with tiny ears, on the smallish (and cute!) side
***Collie/Lab Puppy (baby male #1907) - black and white and probably only a few months old. Amazingly adorable.
***Lab Retriever/Terrier mix (male #2007) - The best of both worlds!!
***Labrador Retriever (young male/puppy #2107) - This little guy just arrived but can't wait to get out of here!
***Beagle (female #1607) - This girl's named Cinnamon because she's got Beagle looks with cinnamon-colored highlights! Has lived with dogs and children. Rescue pending
***Beagle (male #1307) - Looks a bit like Snoopy with a big, happy smile. - Rescue pending
***Rhodesian Ridgeback (male #0807) - ADOPTED!!!!
*** Labrador Retriever (young female #0907) - has that classic lab look! ADOPTED!!!!
***Two German Shepherd Puppies (males #2207) - double your fun with these two cute boys!!! ADOPTED!!!!
***German Shepherd (female #2307) - This VERY affectionate girl is named Cindy. How could her owner give her up? ADOPTED!!!!
***Terrier (female #1407) - Medium-sized fluffy dog with lots of tan fur that almost covers her eyes. ADOPTED!!!!
To adopt or rescue one of these dogs, you will need to call or email the pound before Tuesday, March 7th.
This is a VERY rescue-friendly shelter, and transport and other assistance may be available. They'll even hold a dog for you while he/she gets spayed or neutered. These are friendly, loving dogs who need friendly, loving homes where they'll be adored. If you're interested in adopting or rescuing, contact info for the Pound can be found here.
