winning a contest??

Hi, i was curious if anyone else on BPO had posted a picture on the website "cutest pets around the world".  i did it just on a whim one day, and i guess fumble is a semi-finalist or something.  but in the mail, it said that they also wanted to include him in their cutest pets book that they are putting out in the spring, but i have to send $25 for his biography to be included.  but i'm not sure how i feel about this.. just wondering if anyone else came across this site or anything?

I got something similar when I posted a poem in a contest online.  They wanted something like $50 to put the poem in a book and then another $25 for a copy of the book.  I think its just a money making scam...

hahaha! i don't trust any of them either!  i emailed them and the response said that i don't have to pay anything to still be included.  i just need to sign a permission slip saying that i was the one who took the picture.

well.. i just looked it up, the book that we are going to be in is going to be sold at Barnes and Noble in June 2006.
