Oh heavan's no.  Lady is still twice Gracey's size.

Everytime I see your pictures I've wanted to tell you how much I like the quilt on your couch but before i know it i've hit Post and didn't say it. So this time I will say it I really really like your quilt!  hehe   Did you make it?    My mom and grandma are avid quilters.  I've started to get into it a little but i have to work on my patience skills a little more.  I like to be doing lots of things at once and you cant really do that while guiding fabric through a sewing machine.

Why thank you!  That's one of my favorites too.  Yes I did make that one.  I made the one in the pictures of the puppies on the bed too.  I have too many now.   
I haven't done many since Grace came along...I wonder why.  Like you I have a lot of other things to do and 2 pups to keep track of.

Thats awesome! They are both beautiful.   I started one for my kitchen wall but ended up cutting all the pieces on the bias so my mom said it would strech.  I wish she had told me that before I cut everything!  She said it might still work but now i'm very discouraged..     Here is one my mom and grandma made for Nick and I as a wedding gift.    It is in our wedding colors and I absolutely love it.   I hope one day I will be able to finish at least one quilt instead of having them in piles of fabric around the room

Wow!  she's good.  Those are great presents.   
Don't get discouraged!  It's so easy.  Start again with new fabric and use that other stuff for something else.  Scraps are great.  I'd rather have it stretch than shrink.  I've cut a lot of stuff on the bias and not had any problems...how can you avoid cutting on the bias with the angles you cut anyway?  Try it again.
