Fingers crossed she is well enough to come home with you tomorrow.

And if you come back to the UK with her we will have to get together  ;)

I would love to meet up with you guys.

I am fairly fired up that unless they convince me she needs to be there then i am bringing her home tomorrow.  We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Thanks for your thoughts, hope your baby boy is OK.

Hurrah - Day-z is home.

Basically the stool is normal but soft, rather than liquid and pupper is home.

She has shaved patches on her front legs where the drip went in and she is now cleaning up.  We have given her dinner (special food from vet) and she is now lying in her favourite spot.

We go back in 10 days for more tests on her kidneys.

As you can imagine, i am very, very relieved to have her home - and she seems much better than when she went in.

Thanks for all your support

Jill and Day-z

FYI - $740 more or less....

Yeah!!!  "happy dance.....happ y dance!!!"  YIPPEE!  I'm so happy for you!  GREAT News!   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Did they get any labs back (opps, sorry, lab reports...not retreivers  ::))  Any news on what caused it?

Actually that is a remarkably LOW price!!  Incredibly low!  Amazing!  With all she had done and with all the lab tests I would have thought that you have have had to add a zero to the end of that number!!!  Good work!

Nope all we know is that she has had gastroenteriti s (sp?) and the fact that i insisted upon all test means that we may have spotted kidney disease early on.  So, in 10 days more test and ultrasound on kidneys if needed.

Price was not too bad, I agree.

I am so happy to have her home.  Ordered her a new bed today as a welcome home.

Thanks

I am so pleased she is back home with you. Hopefully she will be as right as rain again soon, and if she does have any kidney problems they can control them with diet or medication :)

Glad she's home and I'm glad you were able to catch a problem early on and hopefully control it!  Please do keep us posted on how she's doing.

Hi there,

as an update....

Day-z loves the Purina En food that she has been prescribed and is lively but tired (if that makes any sense).  She seems more like her self.

Runny stool though, so pumpkin shopping tomorrow - but she seems fine apart from that - and she is not going very often so think it will be ok.

Thanks for everyones kind thoughts.

I'm so glad to hear that Day-Z is home with you!  It sounds like she is doing well.  Hopefully the pumpkin will help.  I'm sure she is just happy to be home! :)
