Sadie's 1st Birthday!!!

Hi guys, I haven't been on much lately, but I wanted to let everyone know that my baby is one year old today.  :)
AND, my dear husband and I have found out we are expecting our first child in November. No wonder I've been so stinking tired lately...LOL
So anyway, my mother is scared out of her mind that Sadie is going to maul our new baby over because she's such a beast!! I need some ammo to hit her back with, so all of you Pyr owners, tell me how great they are with kids  :P

Congrats on the baby too!  I'm sure that Sadie will be great with kids.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY SADIE!!!!

We got Kiah when my daughter was 21 months old. They got along great. They have a wonderful bond! Pyrs are known for being good with kids. There's always a learning curve though. My daughter is now 2.5 years. She loves Kiah very much!

Congrats on your new baby!! Sadie and the baby will be just fine. Has Sadie been overly protective of you?

Kiah is very overprotective of me. She used to never bark in the house. Now whenever someone walks by the house she runs barking at the window. One of these days I'm afraid she'll go right through it.

BTW: I'm due in November too!

Riley will smack at the window with his paws when I got out and he can still see me, especially if I take Sadie out w/o him. Oh, my goodness. It's a sliding glass door, and it'll rattle when he hits it. I swear he's going to smack his paw clear through it one day, too.

As with any dog common sense is don't leave them alone with the baby. My Cujo never has hurt any of my children a matter of fact they are his sheep to protect. He however is an outside dog.
