Might be on the downward slide

Last night before we took him to the vet, Barkley got sick.  I thought it was because of his food not being up.  The vet said to watch the vomiting over the next days as it could be a sign of a downward turn. 

Tonight I fed him, holding the bowl in my lap as I always do.  He didn't finish his full meal, and bolted for the door to be let out, where he got sick again.  I had put his prednozone in his meal, so the vet told me to give him another dose.

God, I hope this isn't the start of the downward slide  :'(
