Mastiff Rescue needed in Minneapolis MN
« on: April 21, 2006, 06:14:25 am »
Hi Everyone.  I got a message from a vet friend that needs a mastiff rescue in Minneapolis (sorry if its spelled wrong) MN.  Here is her message to me:

The dog is 2 years old, and I am pretty sure it is a neutered male. It came in to one of the clinics I work at and had ruptured its cruciate ligaments in both knees and needed surgery. The owner couldn't afford to have this done so they surrendered the dog, and one of the doctors at the clinic had TPLO surgeries performed on both knees by one of the local board certified surgeons. It is living with one of the doctors for the time being. I know she has two pre-teenaged girls so I think it is good with children. It seems to do well with other animals when it is at the clinic. That's really all I know about it. Although she really likes the dog, she really had no intention of keeping it when she took it, so now that it has had its surgeries, she would like to place it in a good home. I am sure it is current on vx and HW testing and preventive. If you come across any leads, let me know and I will pass it along to her. Thanks.

Let me know if there is anyone I can refer her to regarding this.  Let see if this one goes smoother than poor Jewel.
