I refuse to leave the van!!
« on: April 20, 2006, 12:04:20 am »
Here's Angus in the van dinner time. We had to drive down to the waterfront for a few minutes so I took him with us and when we got home it took me 15 minutes to get him to come out of the van! I could have pushed him out or tugged on him a bit harder but I was laughing to hard as he was 100% trying to avoid looking at me or anything. So what was I to do (I was already late for work). Grab the camera and take a few pictures of course!! I finally got him out by hiding by the side of the van and whispering his name, curiosity got the best of him.

That is cute! C'mon once more around the block!
We go through this every single time we take bava anywhere, he just loves to ride for some reason, and will not cooperate one bit getting out.  I always have to resort to  picking him up and dragging him out.

Day-z does the same thing.  It takes me 20 mins to coax her out when we get to daycare and it usually her seeing one of the other dogs that does it.

Good Idea. I have to tell my wife that I need a another puppy so that I can coax Angus out of the van. I'm positive (not) that she'll go for that.

Einstein only refuses to get out when we arrive at the vets.  For a while we were going to the vet so often that he balked at even getting IN the car.  Since we've mostly gone to the dog park lately, he doesn't have a problem getting in anymore.  And when we arrive at the dog park -- he jumps out no problem.

I think Angus wants to learn how to drive!  Then he can go save drowning people 24/7.

LOL!

Teddy used to whine like crazy in the van.  He was just trying to tell me that he did not like riding in the back.  When I put him in the passenger seat, he's happy as a clam.  I told Hubby that HE has to ride in the back now cause Teddy gets to co-pilot!  LOL!!!

Dogs are so goofy! Bear does that all the time too.  ;D I remember one time last year, we were at my mom's and he refused to get out so we left him in the car with the door open and we went inside. We just watched through the window as he sat there with no movement. I think 1/2 went by before he decided to walk around and wonder where we went. Silly boy!

Maybe he had an errand to run.

He's a cutie.

I agree, this is the best caption for Angus.
