I just don't understand people i found a dog on petfinder for my friend even arranged free transport from a kind man traveling from Albany to Buffalo 1 person directly to Buffalo the woman who promised me the dog happily said she would have her ready on Sunday you can even read the email she sent me. Today when i called her to make sure the arrangements were set she told me she had given the dog to a man????????????????? I sensed she was in a hurry to get rid of the dog but why would she promise the dog to me and then give her to someone else? She told me she couldn't take care of her anymore they have a Lab as well and a new baby. The person who was looking forward to her arrival is heart broken and now i have to start all over in my search! Marina

Amanda please call me I will give your # to the transporter when he calls at 11 this am. He will be leaving Albany around 4 today thank you Marina

Does she have any bad habits? I am looking for a company for my ex husbands dog he is about 1 1/2 and full of energy. Is she crate trained? Can she be left on her own? He works out of his home and is gone maybe for 1 hr at a time during the day. His dog is on a  love and needs a playmate. Please tell me all you can about her and why you must rehome her. Thanks Marina

I don't use swiffer any more because of this article:

Recently someone had to have their 5-year old German Shepherd dog put down due to liver failure. The dog was completely healthy until a few weeks ago, so they had a necropsy done to see what the cause was. The liver levels were unbelievable, as if the dog had ingested poison of some kind. The dog is kept inside, and when he's outside, someone's with him, so the idea of him getting into something unknown was hard to believe.

My neighbor started going through all the items in the house. When he got to the Swiffer Wetjet, he noticed, in very tiny print, a warning which stated 'may be harmful to small children and animals.' He called the company to ask what the contents of the cleaning agent are and was astounded to find out that antifreeze is one of the ingredients (actually, he was told it's a
compound which is one molecule away from antifreeze). Therefore , just by the dog walking on the floor cleaned with the solution, then lickin g its own paws, it ingested enough of the solution to destroy its liver.

Soon after his dog's death, his housekeepers' two cats also died of liver failure. They both used the Swiffer Wetjet for quick cleanups on their floors. Necropsies weren't done on the cats, so they couldn't file a lawsuit, but he asked that we spread the word to as many people as possible so they don't lose
their animals.

This is equally harmful to babies and small children that play on the floor a lot and put their fingers in their mouths a lot.

PLEASE, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BABIES, SMALL CHILDREN OR OWN A PET;
PLEASE FORWARD THIS ON! YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANY CHILDREN OR PETS BUT SOME OF YOU
HAVE FRIENDS OR FAMILY WITH PETS AND ALSO FAMILIES WITH GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT
GRANDCHILDREN

I try and use anything that is natural and does not have a sent Bryce is very allergic to cleaners and detergents.

Do you know anyone looking to adopt a large dog?  One of the guys from work is trying to place their dog....wife and kids all have allergies and their doctor is saying it is the dog.

He is great with kids and they are heart broken.... but they need to find a home for him within the next week or so or he will have to go to a rescue group or the humane society.  My co-worker has exhausted all of his contacts and is really distraught so I said I would do what I could.....  I have attached some pics.

His name is Woody.....he is a boxer/shepherd mix, ~ 4 years old and has been fixed......

Please pass this on to anyone you know that might be interested. They can call me here at work and I will put them in touch with him.  Our number is 614-224-7141.  My cell number is 614-271-9879.

Thanks so much!

Dory is a very sweet girl that I took in bc I breeder was surrendering her bc they were unable to sell her since she is blind. She is a reverse brindle about 14 weeks of age, has had her first round of shots. She gets around very well, once she know the lay of the house. She plays good with my other dogs. She is almost fully potty trained, and she doesn't really chew on things. I currently have her in dog training, she currently know sit and is doing ok with walking on a leash. She is going to require the right person to be able to work with her, as well as a fenced yard. She will be a big girl, so it will be very important for her to get training and socialization. There will be an adoption fee of $100.00. It will be required that she be spayed as well. Thanks

Thank you all for your emails i have never had a dog that has bitten anyone and it was quite a shocking experience. You hear about it and hope it doesn't happen to you. I know it was his decision to get in between them i guess i would have been going to the vet if he didn't. Bryce had some wounds on his lips and i couldn't figure out where the blood on Milo came from.Al is quite on the front and that's the way i like it Bryce is pooped out from school and i took Milo to work today. Thanks again for the emails that were sent to me as well marina

Really bad night Bryce and Milo got into a big fight over i am really not sure what started it. My worker came to pick up keys for the truck and my girlfriend was just leaving Milo and Bryce do not like anyone to close to me even if they know you. Milo started it and all of a sudden fur and blood was flying all over my worker jumped in between them because that is 300 pounds of dog and i could not get them off each other. I was screaming at the top of my lungs and finally they were apart. Blood everywhere i checked each of them and found no blood it was my worker bitten in 3 different places on both hands. My power had just gone down from a wind and rain storm so i was already stressed. I had to take the worker to the ER and we sat there for 2 hr he had to get stitches and his hands looked terrible. I felt so bad he had no health insurance and his meds were 75.00 and i am sure i will be picking up the ER visit.I was also informed the Health Department would be in touch with me now i am really upset. Sorry so long i am just really STRESSED OUT Marina

A close friend passed away and I have been fostering her pets for her. unfortunately this one needs A LOT of attention. She is super sweet and affectionate great with other dogs and has an amazing personality. i have her updated on all of her shots and on advantix. It would be nice to if somebody would pay her vet bills that were incurred. I honestly just don't have the time to take care of her. I want to be sure she goes to home that will be able to her the time she needs. thanks for your time. -alex

My Christmas has been very stressful to say the least! This is my first Christmas without my Mom. I have tried not to mention it when others ask me how i am doing when really i  just feel like crying. I have been snow plowing for 4 days straight with not much sleep that brings out the stress as well. Needless to say Christmas was over before it begin. Today Bryce and i finally got to his package which he has been longing for since the day it arrived. Thank you very much for his favorite treats and stuffed animal. The one he really loved a little to much was the X-Lg Moo Bone could not be taken away from him. For the first time ever he growled at me not once but 3 x i put him in the bathroom with the bone and could hear him working on it. I had to figure a to take it away from him so he didn't get in a fight with the other 2.So i opened the bathroom door and scared him he dropped it and i grabbed it. Well he won't be seeing his Christmas Moo bone for a while  :'( :'( :'(
