Welcome (back?) to BPO!!!  Can't wait to see yuor pup when you get one.  I agree with the newfie/heat thing.  I would own one myself if I was convinced they could take the temps but it gets 110-115 every summer here and sometimes up to 120 with the lows being in the 90s so I just don't see them having fun living here.   :-\

I wish!  Holly "talks" at dinnertime every night.  We call her the Dinner Whale because it sounds like a whale song. ;D  My old  GSD talked all the time.  I had an Eskie (someone stole it  :'() that talked all the time.

That just makes me sick!  And Angry!  I can't believe they are encouraging this sort of thing!  It sets all rescues and they're people way back.  Who is going to care for these animals when they're so common that no one wants them and moves on to something "better"?  Will we have to stretch our already overworked, unpaid rescuers even furher?  or have to start new rescues specifically for these "breeds" taking away frlom the animals already out there that need hep. go to mastiff rescue

they are already fixed and vet checked

This is a highly recomended Mastiff rescue.  If they don't have what you want listed just ask them.  They probably have several more that aren't on the list yet and/or could help you to find the one that's right for you.
