That's a tough one since the collar is on the other dogs neck. 
Normally I would suggest hot sauce but not sure that's a good idea so close to the dogs skin on a continual basis.
Hmmm.......wha t about baby shampoo diluted with water?   
Or maybe squirting with a spray bottle whenever the chewing starts?

I hope you find a solution quickly.  Collars aren't cheap.

Daisy is definitely a gasser but hers is always food related.

Even a hotdog or one piece of bologna can set her off. 

Certain dog foods and dog treats do it too.

It's so terrible I swear I can see a skull and crossbones forming in green gas above her!

Not only do you get to make a snowflake but you can attach a message to it.
You can email the snowflake to someone or let it drift.   People can respond to what you posted.  Kinda cool.

They are wonderful!

Nothing beats a drawing of your own pet. 
My husband had a sketch done of my 3 monsters and it was the best birthday gift!
I love looking at that picture.

Poor pupper and poor you.
That's the last thing you needed to face after being in the hospital.
The mess and the stress.....not good.
If I was your neighbor I'd come over and clean up the mess so you could relax.
