How pretty he is.  Hubby looks pretty good too.  hee hee. I love the looks of this dog.  Where do you find a Swiss Mountain Dog ??? Do they drool a lot ??? I just lost our Queensland mix and am researching.  We had CoCo for 18 years, so it is hard to believe she is no longer around.  She just got too old to walk. She had a good life.  Anyway Mountain Dogs seem terrific. tell me more.

Welcome, we all LOVE the photos.  Can't wait to see them.

Hi,  I am not real knowlegable on the Rotweiler breed but I worked with a person in the TV and Movie animal field and she told me that because of the color of the Rot, they could only put them in violent types of films because that is the way the public sees them.  She knew it was a shame because that are so cool but she can't change it.  Also black does not film well.  I do not know how they got the reputation but I believe it is because they are depicted especially during WWI and WWII as fighting dogs.  Were they bred in Germany as war dogs?  Why do they always doc the tail?  Niki's tail was docked by her mothers owner and I would not have done it.

Hi, this reminds me of a time when I was a single parent and joined a group of single parents with the goal that we would work on helping each other (male and female) raising our kids.  Then we found the subjects started swaying away from just the kids but into our own personal problems.  But that was OK too and I feel that if there is someone that can't handle a little R rated dialog, then they can go elsewhere or if we flag a few discussions, it will make them more desirable.  So I vote "keep the fires burning".

Hi, Niki is a pure Rotweiller and Lab mix and you can see in the photos.  Some of the puppies had the pure Rot colors and some were all brown like her.  Parents were both all black, one, of course with Rot colors.  This one looks like a German Shepard mix, probably some Rot but will be very big, look at those paws.  Looks very cute and very smart.  Niki is a rotten lab - this one could be a rotten shepard.  Very nice.

Hi, been reading all of the posts and having a blast with them, drunk and all.  I try not to post when I am a little "tipsy" as I can say things that bite me in the _ss later but you all seem to keep it cool and fun.  The only thing that I noticed that may contribute to your notions of keeping it together is that when there is an avatar that includes both the dog and owner, it is much more (what is the word I am looking for?) affective and easy to relate to.  As an example Bear laying down with Jamie, helps me relate to who is posting.  I am trying to get a photo for my own Avatar, however, I am not as young as I used to be but Niki makes me look good.  hee hee.  Just a thought.

Hi, what state are you in that would require him to wear a muzzle.  >:(
I am so against all of the rules and regulations our country keeps posting that we have to follow or be nabbed by the "police".  Very hard to live with.

Woops, a typo, Is THIS the future in America.

Wow you people are funny.  ;D  This is why I live in the country where, as said, it is considered fertilizer.  My neighbors are at least an acre or two away so we get along pretty much.  The point I have is this:  How could the government register each dog by his DNA so that if one poops on your property, you could take it down and have it matched so that you could throw it at the right person.  Is this Big Brother hidden as "Big Pooper".   ???  Is the the future for America  ???

Hi Jesus, well it sounds like you really love this dog.  Not knowing about your disability, such as, can you pick up items, lean over, are you in a wheel chair, makes me wonder if there could be a way for you to keep him.  Maybe there is someone in your family that could help on his walks.  Maybe there is a professional that can help you train him to help you.  Maybe there is a different avenue that you could explore.  Maybe there is someone that would love to help you take care of him.   I trained my dog to pick up anything I drop and hand it to me and I am just a regular dog lover.  Big dogs are very intelligent.

Just a thought.

Hi, just got caught up on the party as I was out of town (Phoenix) for my grandaughter's graduation.  (guess I'm REALLY old now).  Sorry I missed it, let me know the next time you do it and I will get my own bottle and join in.  Love the graduation but Phoenix is HOT.  How can people live in that ??? How can big dogs take it ???
