I hope you post many pics here for all of us to enjoy. I did visit your site however and absolutely love your beautiful Newfs. You are lucky to have had these big loves in your life for so long.  :) Our boy is 2 1/2, all black and the absolute light of our life. We can't wait to get him a brother.

Thanks for the update Sullivan. I know that all of us here will pray that things turn out all right for Seamus. Good luck on Thursday and with the search for a Newfie pup. I really do think that the puppy & Seamus will get along perfectly. ;)

I just found your website and I just love it!  I have a two year old red malamute and she is just the best dog ever.  Her name is Angel, although she doesn't always act like one.  She has had some medical problems with her front legs but is doing much better now.  She is quite a ham and would love to be atop this website!  The pic I've attached is from when she was almost a year old.  All my other pics are too large to post.  I look forward to seeing all the dogs on this site!

Bills & Other Legislative Acts / Re: Breed restrictions!!!!!
« on: March 27, 2005, 06:21:02 pm »
Nobody should ever be put in the place of deciding what is right or wrong for another individual. Everyone has their own ideas on good or bad pets and breeds. I don't think this is really an issue on breed restrictions but rather an issue who is better, safer, and more loved at this moment. Everything in our world comes down to a political warfare where those with the most $$ can make the most impact on decisions. I agree that pets are a privilage and not a right, but to limit my choice, breed, gender, and in-tactness should never a decision the law makes for me. If I can prove my responsibility as an owner and parent, I should have the right to do what I want with MY dog when I want to do it. He make work, he may show, he may play and sure he might become a dad someday....all of which is up to me!

The quality of life every living thing has should be up to those who take an active role in raising it and not the lawmakers sitting in their fancy offices making decisions that impact my life or those of loved ones. As in many cases, too much government is not good for the people.

Bills & Other Legislative Acts / Re: What is going on with PETA?
« on: March 27, 2005, 06:08:56 pm »
PETA is all about the publicity it can bring to the forefront and make whatever plans they have on their agenda known to the world. They definately are helping the world into moving in the wrong direction with the suppost of these terrible laws. Dogs are not bad naturally. They are made to be bad by either having really bad training or they have had a lack of training which they are allowed to be reckless and held unaccountable for their actions. All parents of animals should be made to take a test or something to prove that they are responsible and can handle all the work that comes with owning a pet. It is not an easy job all of the time and does require time & effort into making your animal obey commands and know what is allowed & what is not. The blame goes back to the parents...and if you think about it irresponsible parenting in animals is showing the same effects now that wreckless & uninvolved parents are having on their human children. I deal with students daily who come from terrible families with baggage like no other and if parents were held to a certain standard of responsibility then our world would be a much better place too. Both pets and children are a privilage to have and not a right.
