Thanks for replying.  I just hate to tell folks he's got mange.  Sounds nasty, like having lice.   It's good to know all these beauties had it too.  Makes me feel like Websters going to be okay afterall.

I took Webster in for neutering this morning.  That all went well and he is home now playing ruff and tumble, with us trying to keep him calm.  But, the vet pointed outs some hairloss around his eyes.  He said it was probably demodectic mange.  YUCK! So now he is on medicine for that.  He also has some pustule areas under is arms and groin areas, he is on antibiotics for that.  He also had ear infection and he is on medicine for that.  He doesn't seem to feel bad with any of this, but it is killing my pocketbook.  I got him microchipped, and the last of his vacs, skin scrapings,  neutered, ears deep cleaned and a ton of meds...All for just over $350.  Hopefully, all the meds will take and once we have a check up in 2 weeks, We won't have to go to the vet again for a year.

At this point, I would PAY the doggie tooth fairy to come get Websters teeth!  He is being neutered tomorrow, any chance I might could talk the vet into pulling at least those 4 that hook into flesh and bone?

Webster goes in at 7:30 in the morning for neutering and a microchip.  He has been fed enough today that I don't worry about going from now til then w/o food, but w/o WATER?????   I called the Vet and explained how much water a newf can drink and he finally relented and said he could have a FEW ice cubes, preferably none after midnight.   (earlier I had been told no food or drink after 7pm).  My little baby would have thirsted to death and driven me crazy in the process.  He does love his water and can drink, slurp, spit and spill gallons of the stuff every hour.

Webster is about 2-3 weeks younger than Fumble, but I think they could be twins.  Webster didn't get into white paint, but does liquified white candle wax count?  And I could add a fish:  he loves to swirl around in water.

We got an older jeep wrangler, took the seats out of the back.  It works great for Webster and Riley.  (newf pup and goldie)

I have the same problem as you.  Webster will either swirl the water out of the bowl with his paw, tip the water  bowl over, or.....and I have seen this, he will pick up the water bowl (with water in it) and toss it in the air.  Our kitchen is ceramic tile flooring and is dangerously SLICK.  I have a bathmat under the bowls at present, I thought I might try putting the bowls in a plastic storage box, the kind that you can slip under your bed or something.  I will let you know how that works.  The funny and cute is wearing off of this trick.!

Webster was born 8-2, Fumble looks soooooo much bigger.  Still, Web is gaining about 3 pounds a week.  I wish he could learn to fly like Fumble.  But he is learning to whisper like Drake!

I learned that big, thick, leftover, grilled pork chops are good right out of the fridge.  No reheat needed.

Newfs grow so fast!  Today was a gorgeous day in Kentucky.  We took Webster and Riley to the local lake.  Webster just got in up to his chest, but that's a start!  Hope we get him swimming before the cold weather gets here.
