We give Fumble the sweet potato fries, we used to give him the chews but we noticed that he wasn't digesting them and pooping out orange chunks. This could also have been from his tummy surgery, but just to be careful we've cut them out in the last month. BUt we definatly think they are so much better than pigs ears. And he did love them! :)

oh Bodhi is such a good boy!  that picture of you and him reminds me of fumble.. he'll lay right across my legs and fall asleep and then if he gets uncomfortable he'll put his head on my shoulder and then fall asleep.  it's so cute.. so i'm sure you look at bodhi and just smile when he's laying there on you!  i love those snuggly big paws!

Gabby is sooo adorable!!  i loved getting pictures of fumble's litter when he was a baby.  just seeing them when they're so little is so remarkable because they turn into these giant and graceful creatures!  Congratulation s on your new baby!

that was how fumble was in the snow the first time.  he LOVES IT!  and tries to save one snowflake at a time!  lol! by eating them!  it's like the biggest ice cube.  he's a goof ball and will wake me up in the middle of the night if it's snowing! got to love them!  Rosie is ADORABLE! i'm glad that she was able to make the long trip too!  how was she in the car?? she looks like she's so laid back she loves the car rides!

i definately have to say i agree with melissakins... 11 months is still young, and they will act up.  but now is definately the time to deal with it, and try to work on the basic sit, stay, down, leave it skills.  just reinforce everything! and make sure that if people are coming over you take him for a good walk.  i've always heard, an exercised dog is a happy dog!  What are some of the behaviors?  is he aggressive?

Good luck!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!! Poor Eiren was sick, so we just stayed in and watched a John and Kate plus 8 Marathon, its one of our favorite shows!! :) But Fumble was such a sweetie during the day, and ended up falling asleep between/on top of the two of us on the couch, its the cutest thing! We hope that everyone had a safe and fun New Years Eve and wish everyone a HAppy New Year!

I know I mentioned earlier that Fumble opened his presents early, and that I didn't get a chance to take pictures, were going to try to "re-inact" it after he's had his bath on Friday :) All the gifts were great!!
When he opened them up, he loved the blanket because it was round and he held it in his mouth for so long. He didn't even care about any of the other toys! But then he caught on! The camel looks an awful lot like Fumble with his tounge hanging out of the side of his mouth! and the sweet potato chews are perfect! we're gonna have to get more of those, they are definatly better than pigs ears, and have come in handy trying to ween him back down from 3 meals a day. He gets really hungry or expects food at 12 so I give him one of the chews!!
I swear we'll post pictures this weekend!

I'm so glad Fumble is feeling better. Tobet is too but has saved up at least 4 days of bad behavior and is spending it with a vengeance. Unfortunately the dog park is still off limits so we are having a hard time burning the extra energy.

P.S. where are the snow pics?

Glad to hear that Tobey is feeling better!! and getting back to normal! Ahh! Fumble can be very naughty and nasty, even more now since the surgery! I think he's upset with us for doing that to him, but also the pent up energy! We just started taking him for walks again Sunday and it helps a little. But man its tough, they can get into anything they want huh?! Im waiting for him to figure out how to open the fridge, We made lots of fudge and its he spy's it everytime we open the door.
The pics are posted in the Newf pictures under first snow

They looked like they loved it lots! And a great family shot at the end in front of the tree!
I have to get Fumble to take pictures with his toys. We didn't get the unwrapping which is probably best, it was just a lot of paper everywhere!
