anyhow.......i sn't she cute!!!!  now we don't have to look at that shadow mystery dog beside our name anymore!!! LOL

I'm getting mixed info on what age to start our pup on heartgaurd!  she is 10.5 weeks now.  our vet was saying 4 months???   when I take her outside SKEETERS are everywhere in the grass!  she is on advantix...fle as/ticks/mosquitos...ya know.  BUT, I am not sure it's working???  b/c she spins around and bites her tail and rear hips often.
one other question how many months do pups eat pup feed b/f going up to adult food...this isn't a problem...just curious? :)

General Board for Big Dogs with Big Paws / AKC papers???

OK, here's how it is....the breeder only signed his signature and left everything else blank.  this pup was actually sold to another person by breeder and in short buyer was unable to keep pup.  I buy pup from them and have papers, what do I do now?  pup has NOT been registered yet.  so I don't think it's like a transfer officially on paper anyway.  Do i fill in my name and address?  do breeders every leave this blank and just let buyer fill rest in?  The original owner gave me all paperwork and told me to have her registered, b/c they didn't not have time d/t only having her very short period of time b/f they decided not to keep her.  other question does a breeder turn in list of original buyers names of the litter as litter mates are purchased.  don't want to go about any thing in wrong way.  so any help/info is welcome.

Annabelle is 8 weeks; how old should a giant schnauzer be for the first grooming/cut?
Her other mommy had her booked for cut late this week; but I just love the fluffy puppy look, but then again how long is too long?

HI all,
Hope I am doing this correctly?  New to boards.  New GS owner as well!  Day two of the madness of owning a puppy; wow how quickly we forget.  Our other dog is a boxer-pit mix/9 years old. 
Just wanted to say HI and meet everyone!
OH I am sure I will be posting often as i already have tonsssss of questions!???
