She is still doing good, but every now and then she doesn't want to listen, but that should improve over time.  One thing I need some suggestions on, as her down needs lots of work.  I can't get her to do the drop down type, she wants to curl up and down, out of the heel position.  I move her, but cause of her size, its been difficult on my back and hip.  I tried to push her into the down position that I want her to do, and she refuses.  Any suggestions that would make this easier?  She is doing well on the technique I used with JC (simple corrections and praise method).  I don't want to change my training method, just some ideas that would help without treats or clicker.  Otherwise her heeling is going good, she can do turns and the turn about heel in exercise.  She can back up and sit.  She knows easy for going slowly as well as hurry.  She does do an autosit when we stop.  Need to get my sister's 25ft leash and work on some recall practice.  She does a good down stay off leash, but needs work on the sit-stay off leash.  So she is learning very fast.  Her garbage problems and accidents have been curbed.  Not surfing the counter as often.  She likes to pick stuff up and bring it to me.  She is one smart dog, lol.  Yes she needs work in some areas, but shouldn't be too hard once she figures it out.

Hi, I thought I would post here too, since I have a Border Collie.  She is a Service Dog, she is trained for Medical Alert and some Mobility assistance.  We have been working together for 4 yrs, since she completed her training at 2 yrs old.  She will be 6 yrs old in August. She is a tri-color Border Collie. 

I am pretty sure she is Anatolian Shepherd.  Now she doesn't have the common markings, but have found pictures online of Anatolians that do have the same markings as her.  She doesn't have the known temperment either.  The last pic is of a known Anatolian Shepherd.  She could be mix breed that looks Anatolian Shepherd.  Probably will never know.  She is very smart and responds well to training.  Which is important, if she is going to be a Service Dog for me.

Here's a pic of an Anatolian Shepherd with the same markings as Beauty.  The information on Anatolians I found state females are usually 27+ inches and 80-120lbs.  She is 27 inches and 83 lbs.  But I know many sites have slightly different info as to the standard.  She does have black ticking over the red on her face and back, as well as her tail.  Just not very well shown in the pic of Beauty.

I think she is Anatolian, but need more imput on her breed.
