Newfoundland Discussions / Re: Another *rescue* success

Hi we have two rescue Newfs. They seem to give just that little bit extra love, but they are in a `forever` home with us now.
Our youngest Newf. we rescued last october, he was twenty one months old and had had four previous homes prior to us.  Even now we can`t fathom why.  He is adorable, so cuddly and well behaved.  We treat each day as it comes but what you see is what you get, playful, friendly and loveable everybody who meets him thinks the same.We fell on our feet when he came home to us, the other owners don`t know what they`ve missed!
We've only had Charlie now since the week before Christmas 2004 and despite some very big misgivings from other Newfy people, he has fit right in to our home. It only goes to show...never judge a Newfy based on someone else's opinion! One of the worries was how he would fit in with my smaller dogs since he was raised about only other Newfies. If you check out his picture I'll thinK you can see everything here is *kosher*!

Hi everyone,
I`m a CNer (clubNewf)  We live in the S/E of the UK,  have two Newfs, one aged Four yrs. and the other two yrs. old and one Bernese aged four yrs.   We belong to several Newf. and Bernese clubs but our favourite are the carting display groups we belong to. Look forward to hearing more about everyone and watching this new group grow.
I'm new to this, and seem to have posted my intro to the wrong place first time round, so I'll try again! So, what's with all these tests then? Let's get something interesting going .. I'll introduce myself. I live in Wales (UK) on top of a mountain with my 2 two Newfs Tansy (7) and Dylan (3). As far as the UK goes we live in the middle of nowhere, but by US standards I guess it's not that wild! Spring is well on the way here and the Newfs are enjoying lying out in the sun during the day, though it's 7.45 pm and dark now, so they're lying down here by the computer!
