I too feel naked without a seatbelt.

I can tell you seatbelts save lives..... when I did rescue I NEVER unbuckled a dead person but did put several in a body-bag that had been thrown from their vehicle.

I love babies and if I had it my way I would have had a house full.  I'm excited for you and if you need a stand-in grandma just let me know.  I don't have any experience yet but I will come February.  Really.... how difficult could it be to spoil a little one rotten?

Thanks for all the well wishes.  I'm so excited and can't wait to spoil the little one.  The only problem is that I am 2500 miles away.  Karl and Brooke have agreed to let me bring the little one to Cali when Brooke is done breast feeding.

I'm think that as he/she gets older they will want to spend the summers with us.... at least I hope they will.

Ummmm....can I see some pics of the famous brindle pack? Has Tyra tried swimming yet? huh huh?!?! hahaha

I'll work on getting some new pics of the pack.

As for Ms. Tyra.... well I can tell you that she has not been swimming by choice.  Seems the little princess thought she could walk on the solar blanket and learned the hard way that she could swim.  She was fine and she still loves to play on the baha splashing the water with her paw and then biting at it.  Tucker swims daily but the little boys still don't wan't any part of it.  The first time I put Luke in on the baha the poor guy didn't know what to think.... We don't get much rain here and never enough to puddle so the water was totally foreign to him.

Thanks for asking about the pack.

I'm going to be a grandma.

That's right my son Karl and his wife Brooke are expecting their first child in February.

I know that there is a dane rescue in Vegas.  You might want to contact them and see if they will pull the dog.  Sorry I don't have the contact info.  My computer crashed and I have lost ALL of my contact information.

If rescue can pull the dog the Dane Train might be willing to help with transport.

I am two hours from Vegas and would be willing to help.

It's amazing what you can do with PhotoShop.  If you check Urban Legends these are all listed.

Still very cool.

I too love the last picture.... what a sweet face.

I would love to get together just need to wait a couple months for Tyra to be off house arrest.  We are doing xrays the 1st of July.  I know there are a couple others between here and San Diego.  Maybe we could meet around your place, that would be about 1/2 way.

Welcome back to the group.

I have to agree with Stella... you've got great taste.

My name is Cindy and I am guardian to The Brindle Pack.  My Miss Tyra looked just like your Sir Robin when she was a pup.  Did you get him there in Phoenix?

;D Too funny... he does look VERY comfie.

Living in the desert with nothing but dirt I have learned that we can't have anything cloth and no carpet.  It has made keeping the house much cleaner.

Strider is jealous. He says if we don't get him and merlin a pool they are going to paint green stripes on themselves and move in with you...Hmmmm... . checking for low cost air fares....

Contrary to popular belief I am not running a home for wayward souls; however, if you really need a place to stay we are here for ya.

OK… first I have to admit I don’t work so I have way too much time on my hands….. second, I am somewhat obsessive/compulsive so keeping the house fairly clean is a NEVER ending battle.

At one time I thought about running a small doggy daycare but after the last couple weeks… I don’t think so.

As for that tall drink is 8am too early to start?

I have a question for those of you with labs; are they ALL this wild?  My girlfriend tells me that her boys are mellow but OMG if this is mellow I would hate to see an “active” lab.  In addition these guys are trouble… so far they have chewed shoes, boxes, and one of MY stuffies.  When it come to counter surfing it’s a team effort.  They ate an entire bag of bread then went back for the bagels and peanut butter when I returned to the kitchen…. I was gone all of 90 seconds.

I can tell you that life is not boring with six dogs.  The good news is I have help keeping them all in line…. No not Mack, he’s in Egypt, but little Miss Tyra.  Let me tell you Miss Tyra brings a whole new meaning to the word “bitch”.  She’s not mean or aggressive she is just VERY controlling.

Here are a few more pics of the six-pack.
