General Board for Big Dogs with Big Paws / fencing
« on: July 05, 2009, 01:30:41 pm »
What kind of fencing do you advise?  I have a ton of room and like to see the dogs run and play. My son steaked up some plastic fencing but one goes over it and the other under it. I resteaked it for more support and put tent pags around the bottom but they still get out.

General Board for Big Dogs with Big Paws / Need advise

I have been thinking about another New foundland( I know you aren't surprised). There was an ad on the net today, they have pups and older dogs for sale. I was thinking of an older dog. Gibson is a year old male. What would be your advise on male or female. And would Gibson be to rough for an older dog to play with?

Gobson, is a New Foundland, 10 months. People are laughing at his hind legs. They say he looks like a duck. I trimmed the hair down his legs could that be it that makes it so noticeable?

Gibson is getting white hairs on his forhead. I like it. He is 8 months old. He was to have a white chest and one white paw, this has not appeared yet. He has a few white hairs on his chest. When do New Foundlands get their true markings?
