Glad to hear things are calmer now.  I don't know if Fort Knox is like Fort Hood in TX, but I was stationed in Fort Hood.  There is something strange and hypnotizing when you are in the service of hearing tank and mortar fire loud enough to barley shake the window you lay next to but far, far, away practicing.  Far far away is good knowing they always practice, just in case.
