What a Happy Birthday

Looks like I'm sitting home alone...well alone as you can be with 2 big dogs in the house.  My husband just canceled dinner plans so he could stay at work and fix an issue because no one else can.  I swear I'm going to beat him if he doesn't get home till midnight and is drunk when he does get home.

Happy Birthday to me!

i should just know better than to have special days cuz nothing about me matters to him.  it's all about him and I'm there to make sure things get taken care of for him and do things for him.  I thought I'd be ok if he did get hung up at work...but it's not working out as planned.

That stinks. 

Get on the phone and see if you can muster up some people for a night out.  If not, get dressed and treat yourself to dinner and/or a movie, go to a bookstore, go window shopping, antique-ing, etc. Do anything but sit home alone!  Make your birthday Happy!

Tell you what! Here's your birthday cake below for you and your girls. Just put your name and candles on it instead! And even how old you are if you want. But this is your birthday, so you treat yourself to a luxurious dinner, a shopping trip for that thing you've had your eye on all month long at the store, whatever it is, and get it! Then go for a long drive or walk with your girls wherever you want, rent your favorite movie, make popcorn, and chow down on cake too! Hope you have a good birthday no matter what!

I'm sorry your evening didn't work out.  I agree with everyone else, see if you can muster up some buddies to go out with if that doesn't work out your way take yourself out for some pampering or something I like to do Order out from a favorite restaurant (a really good one) come home take your shoes off watch your favorite movies with your girls.

AWWWWW that sucks.  Can you get custody of the dogs?  I vote for Black Forest Cake.  My birthday is a really big deal to me...that would really feel awful.  I'm so sorry.  You can pm me if you feel down!
