Breath taking
« on: October 11, 2007, 04:43:12 pm »
i drive by this house every day on the way home from work and i gaze into the pond in the yard. i finally grew a pair today and stopped, pulled over into someone's driveway, and (in my 4 inch heals mind you) ran across a busy road so i could squat in this guy's yard and snap a few pics.

Lin, I've been meaning to post this for awhile.  I think that you have a real gift for photography, your pics are just gorgeous!  ;D  Maybe you already have, but if not, have you ever considered taking some photography courses for fun?  Who knows, you just might meet someone special there that would share your interest (either that or at dog related events  ;D ).  One last thought?  I wonder if your local Visitors & Conventions Bureau would be interested in your photos (perhaps for $$?).  ;)  My husband walked by as I was looking at your photos and said "Where's that?  It's beautiful!"  It sure makes us want to visit someday!   ;)  ;D

that is special when a man says that's beautiful! :)  thank you...it means the world to me that you like me sharing my vision of my part of the world.
I took a photojournalis m class in college and just picked up the camera one day.  i've had a lot of fun and doing a lot better at taking pics since i got the freedom from the ex to go places and not have to babysit him.   i think the freedom feeling is really coming through.

thanks again...all of you.

The photo with the dock... I just can't stop looking at it.  Gorgeous.  Honestly - I would buy this photograph.  You have a real gift.  Thanks so much for sharing!

it's a relief being able to run outside and do this for 5 hours without having to run home and be available for the drunk.  :)  but i'm gonna blow up some of those this week.  my mom uses them for greeting cards.
anyone who wants the big version to blow up for themselves just needs to let me know.
