Here's a picture used by newfoundland gov't for thier tourism brochures etc... thought you might like it. Some day I'll get Angus in a similar picture, when I can trust him not to jump into the pounding surf!!

Newfoundland has got to be one of the most beautiful spots on the earth! My father is thinking of moving there in the next couple of years, and I hope he does- it would be great to have a reason to go and visit every year!

It's nice here but the weather....... not so good lol. Maybe that's why newfoundland dogs are in limited numbers, it's always raining and they just have to be outside in the rain!!! Angus has not meet a puddle he did not like! LOL!

Thanks for sharing that exquisite picture. No wonder they use the picture to attract tourists...I so wanna go there.

And on the puddle note- Bear has never met water he didn't liek either. He will trudge through the drains just so that his paws get wet. Silly boy!
Hugs,

oh wow, how horribly sad. :(
so sorry for the loss of those two humans, and the last photos in the cam, a moment caught in time, a happy moment.
OTOH that photo of that newf is gorgous!

That is a very sad story and can happen so easily here. Growing up we were warned so many times to respect the ocean and I for one respect it a great deal. A rogue wave can hit at any time.
