eye problems in rottweilers

The whites of my 1-1/2 year old rotties eyes get all red and the outside gets all matted.  This has happened twice and I bath them a couple times a day and it goes away after a couple days.  Does anyone have any ideas on whats going on?

I've never heard of that.  Grace has had ear problems, but not eye problems.  she has redness when she's sleepy or just waking up, but it's not a chronic thing. You might want to check with the vet.  maybe your dog has allergies.  It might be that simple.

Allergies!  Yep....environ mental likely when the eyes are affected.  Conjunctivitis can exist with a range of severity from mild to severe.
