Fur

Ok, newf owners, where has been the most unlikely places you have found fur? I had a couple under the butter dish lid, the coffee filter, oh, and picking the balls of fur off the socks from the dryer.  :D

The better question at our house is where isn't there fur?  The strangest place so far was inside the lunchbox that I take to work!

Hmmmmm I can't think of a place where I haven't found cat hair or dog hair. When I had my malamute I would see birds flying off with it for their nests.

We have had three dogs for quite a while, but I must admit that getting two pups at once was just a unexpected joy. The breeder told us that Newfs really like other Newfs. Our older Newf, Ben (which just turned 9 today) was a real loner with the other dogs (labs), but he latched on to these pups. We find him snoozing cuddled up together with the pups in the basement. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. One, pup or two, it's the same work. They bond with you and the other dogs. You can see it in the pictures i've posted.

Love the video!  But having 3 Newfs must be very painful.  Don't your cheeks get sore from grinning all the time :P

Oh jeeze, I know what your talking about when it comes to having people over for a meal. We are constantly checking the glasses, dishes and any other item that goes on the table. Its a common thing for us to pull a strand out of our mouths here and there, and we laugh about it, but others don't find it so funny. I vaccum twice a day and still the stuff builds tumble weeds! Oh, well, small price to pay.

I can't wait for the fur. I'm going to not vacuum when he or she blows coat at during that week watch John wayne movies in a cowboy outfit. There will be black balls off fur rolling around everywhere.
Maybe if hes a boy I might call him the Duke.
