Newfies Playing Soccer at Carmel Beach

Ok, FINALLY!!  After, oh, 5 months I finally got around to posting the Newfies at Carmel Beach.  Yogi, Bear, Drake and few others all got to play in the surf and Drake of course went after a guy's soccer ball.  He was a good sport and we all had fun.  Mia's laughter is the best part.  Hope this works and thanks to you all who pointed me in the right direction, i.e. youtube.com

Thanks so much for posting that Ryan! It is soooo cute. I love seeing all the Newfies play together on the beach. Great memories!

That was a good time. This was taken when we all went to the Newf Nationals in Monterey - then skipped out to go to the beach with the dogs. They had such a blast! Drake carried on with the soccer ball for the better part of an hour if I remember correctly. Fun times.

Oh my gosh!! That was the best video!! I loved it!! What a great sport that guy was - he looked like he was having as much fun as the dogs and they all looked like one big "gang". They should have put a match together with people vs. newfs - now THAT would have been a hoot!!

hahahaha, I don't know what is cuter, newfie puppies or newfie grown-ups playing soccer.  That was great, would love to have a few more newfs around here!

I would laugh so hard to see a giant Newf/people match. I bet the Newfs would take out the people one by one and win the game...if not in points then in smiles and cheers.

It is impossible to completely fake out Drake, he gets the ball every time and if you get in his way, he will knock you on your butt.  He goes crazy for balls, accidently biting me a couple of times, almost knocking my front teeth out once and knocking my feet out from underneath me.  He just loves to play with balls!  And balloons, oh man that's hilarious to watch too.  We were at the Bay to Breakers Race in San Francisco and he started going after a balloon on the ground in a crowd that was packed tight.  People were running for their lives.... ;D ;D ;D
