new to the site
« on: October 07, 2005, 09:27:25 am »
Hi all,
I'm new to this site and not sure how to communicate with you all
I have the most beautiful St Bernard. Barney is 12 weeks old and goes between goofy puppy to gentleman to psycho man in minutes.
I'd like to be part of the conversations. Please advise how I can do this

I have a digital picture of my little saint Barney but do not know how to upload it. If you could help me out, I'm sure you will fall in love with him. Like I said, I'm new here and am not sure how to navigate the site. Thanks

Welcome to the group.

I'm no good at directing people, and if I told you how to post a pic, you would just end up being more confused...... ....lol

My name is Chris, and I have a husky/shep mix Keiko, and a great dane pup Gunther

I'm the absolute WORST at posting pictures.....t ook me MONTHS to get the avatar in place, but I'll try to help....

Go to the home page  (HEY everybody!!!  Feel free to correct me if I give bad directions!!!)  and go to profiles on the right side of the screen and click on it.  Then look on the left side of the screen for "forum profile information" and click on that and then you can load a picture for your avatar.

To load a picture, just look at rectangle you type in....just below on the left is "additional options".  Click on that and then you can go to 'browse' to look for the picture you want to share from your computer

If this doesn't work, don't listen to me any more, 'k???   EVERYBODY else knows more about this than I do.  If you are confused, feel free to blame me!!!
 ;D

WELCOME YOU AND BARNEY, You will Love it here. Yea you just click on any topic and to the leftside there will be a list of options click on reply and it will take you to another screen where you can type your post.

Pictures are alittle more tricky and you will have to work with it. You will have to resize your pictures to use as avatars. You could always email them to me and I could do it for you and email them back but I dont know how that help you learn.  Sorry I dont think I am much help either.
