ok thanx for the advice ;)
« on: October 10, 2005, 08:01:16 am »
Ok i can see where i said "how sad" would maybe upset the lady, but for me as a breeder, these pups are my heart and soul, i was posting as if, if that was one of my pups, it would be "sad" to have an owner say that, and as a breeder i would coach them thru it, i would not want my people going on the internet for advice over myself.
it is sad that the pup was put on the porch, very sad thru my eyes.
i have yet to do that to any of my pups.
heck from birth on thru 10 weeks, they poop where i sleep on pooty pads.
i dont mind it becouse i understand why, and so to would her breeder and would give her great tips i am sure.
so, yes, i guess i will have to walk on eggshells when i post.
ok than!
thanx for the advice, you gave an example of why we should not post thru our eyes, with emotion, i guess we should than write like a textbook instead.
:)
so sorry, didnt mean to offend, but, if that was one of my treasured babies, i would be sorry for that pup.
and that is where my job is not yet done, even after they leave my house.

Anyone out there looking for a pup, THIS is the kind of breeder you want!

It's not really walking on eggshells; instead, it's catching flies with honey instead of vinegar.

I think it's great that you are passionate about your dogs. I promised Dan that if all goes well we can get a newfie pup in June  :o and we will be looking for a breeder who cares about their pups as much as you do.

....but Lainey wants to come here!!!

I love a breeder who stays in touch, who cares passionately how the dogs are handled.  There's just too much saddness in the world already to have to worry about what happens to these precious dogs!  Both my dogs breeders have stayed in touch, checked in if they haven't heard from me in a while and I feel completelyl comfortable calling or emailing with a question.  Sar is obviously in that style!

I would love to adopt a dog from you.  If you're still breeding in another 10 yrs, you may be hearing from me.   ;D  ;D
