Good Website for those of us with kids

Someone sent me an e-mail with the address of a website that you can type in your address and it will show you all the sex offenders in the area, even breaking them down by whether or not the offense was against a child.  Its familywatchdog .us.  I found 19 sexual offenders just in the area of my daughter's elementary school.     Its scary but I'm glad I know now.

Its was an eye opener for us as well. We also checked out many other zip codes and found that this problem is fairly consistent throughout the socio-economic spectrum.  None of this "well we live in a nice neighborhood".

Ohmygod! I put in my address and there are 20 names on the list within 2 miles of my home, and 20 more between 2 - 6 miles! What an informative site, the photos and descriptions help a lot. I'm gonna pass this site on to my friends with kids.  Thanx!
