My Dog
They say, my dog, he has me wrapped, I don't know what they mean by that....
He eats first and begs for more, drowns out the tv with his loud snore.
Sleeps on the couch, all covered up, drinks his water from his special cup.
I crawl on my knees to find his ball, he lets me know if I try and stall.
Makes me get up at the crack of dawn, while standing at the door, hiding a yawn.
Licks me all over and steps on my feet, afraid to go out in snow, rain or sleet
Jumps in my car with muddy feet,
I cannot win, yes this is my dog,
He has me wrapped, and I am so very glad of that........
