These are my other babies (not quite as snuggly as Teddy, but just as lovable!)

I call Maggie "the couch".  She is soooo smooth to ride but also soooo stubborn!!  LOL!

Bee is at the trainers right now and I hope someday to use her for some team penning!  It looks like so much fun!

Gabby can be incredibly stubborn....to test you she plants all four feet and refuses to move.  No matter how much you squeeze, kick, yell etc she won't move til you either slap her on the neck with your reins or a crop.  So yeah she can be a 1100 lb mule when she put her mind to it.  Her over favorite is shortening her massive stride until she's cantering in place oh that hurts if you try to sit it.

She looks like a polo pony I trained.  Man, was she stubborn too!  I know exactly what you mean when you talk about the hort stride canter!!!  Basha would knock your kidneys out of place sometimes.  But man she loved to run!  Get her going and the wind would hurt your ears!  We have no idea what breed she was.  She came over from Puerto Rico and they run giant herds all together but she definately had some Belgian in there somewhere.  I almost ended up with her but her owner decided she wanted to do something different.  I may still get her...about once a year she offers her to me.   ;D

Here's a close-up of my big beauty.

Do you think I might have a problem with the "bigger is better" concept?   ;D   I ride a giant horse and now I own a (soon to be) giant dog!  LOL!  :D

I think the "bigger is better" problem might be pretty common around here!  We have two newfies and my horse was a big lipizzaner.  Our next horse will be a big one too...we're thinking friesian or Belgian.  They are so beautiful!

I love the photos of your horses!  Maggie is gorgeous! :)

Love the photos!

I'm all for the bigger is better line of thinking. Our current horses are small, barely above pony size, as while growing up mom didn't want us riding big horses. But my next one will definitley be a big un'
