Thanks Ronda!
Both of our boys, Ike and Joey, we're adopted from a rescue. When I joined the Great Dane Rescue of North Texas' message board I immediately read that they were FULL. The had to start turned away animals from kill shelters. I just couldn't take it. Those dogs could be my boys... what if the rescue had had no room for them
Marvel is a sweetheart. She is our second foster in as many weeks. Lilo barely with us a week. Marvel will have to be here a bit longer. She had to have her tail docked. They won't adopt her out until she is completely healed. Which, after today, is going to take a little while longer than it should.
She was healing beautifully. But, her midlle stitches busted open today. I'm just thankful that the outer sutures held. Now, if I can keep her out of it til it heals. Her pretty pink e-collar keeps her from reaching every part of her body EXCEPT the tip of her tail! Hopefully, the rescue will be providing her with a no-bite collar tomorrow. If not, I'll go pick on up.
I saw the video you posted, Ronda. It hurts my heart to watch it but, I agree that ANYONE who is going to own any animal should be REQUIRED to view this.
