I bet crime in this neighborhood would be really low.

I have to disagree with that. The dognapping rates would be through the roof!  :P

Tell me where it is, I'm there!
Dear Lord,
Just for today, let me be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

No they wouldn't--you would just THINK they were kidnapped becase all the babies would all follow me home for more of the liver treats I would carry in my post office shorts pockets!

I could probably convince our vet to come if there's a state park near by.  It'd be awesome...I could do the civil engineering aspects.

And if we all rotate puppers i'm sure everyone could get their fixes without permanent dog napping

Wow -- hadn't thought of that!  If I needed to go out of town for a weekend, there would be no shortage of places for Einstein to stay (and vice versa, of course).

That would be liberating.

With ya'll around, living next to a state park and with lots of pups for Einstein to play with -- I'd probably never leave home.

This is an awesome idea! We should totally all create a big BPO community!!!! Just think...no stupid neighbors! It would be awesome and all the puppers to kiss and love that you could ever dream of!

Could we enclose the whole thing with a big fence and let our pups run around together all day? :D  I know Holly would love the exercise.  lol

we COULD just call it a commune -- let the dogs be a big pack and let the people all share in the work.

Couldn't you just see that pack running around all day -- no gardens in this commune!

And small children?  we'd have to give them padded suits to wear so when they get toppled over they won't get hurt.

Peace love dove man

Moving now! Find an awesome place and I'll be right there! Me and the girls would love that. We can build a commmunity pool for all the dogs to swim in right in the middle of our community of BPOer's!

So I'm totally IN on this.  I have a suggestion about where, too!  We want a temperate climate where it will still get cold, with lakes or a beach.  How about Washington state?  It still gets cold but man, this would be GREAT!

The thought of living with people who love and embrace dogs rather than gritch about them would be fantastic!

When can we move?  ;)

Washington STate is GREAT -- my brother lives in Colville.  Any body know a real estate agent up there?

Not to sound like a travel agent but I think Mt. Desert Island in Maine would also be a great place for this. Mountains that reach the ocean, beaches, lakes, the only true fiord in the lower 48. Half the island is National Park which is great except for the tourist congestion in the summer and the high cost of living that goes along with it. I even have pictures...

Wow!!  Count us in!  We do need a golf course for the golf addicts, though...and the dogs can go in the carts with their people!!!

What a gorgeous spot!!!

I don't see why we can't have satellite villages scattered around -- we could have a co-op of homes to visit throughout the year.  Like time share.

Although I don't think too many folks would be interested in vacationing in Houston (too hot!)
