This is honor of all the dogs that have passed over the rainbow bridge. some parts need some work, but i wanted to let you know how sorry i am, but you'll see him soon.

I thought of you and said “such a pity”
I thought of the way you herded your cattle
I thought of the way you won every battle.
I thought of the way you jumped every hurdle,
With dumbbell in mouth, you would not curdle.
I thought of you coming out of that tunnel,
I thought of the times you sat down to cuddle
I thought of the way you woke me up
You’ve licked my face since you were a pup.
