I get stopped alot and asked if she is a labradoodle, and sometimes if she is a standard poodle. Worst one was at a dog show, where someone was asking their son, if he could identify her breed, suggesting that if might start with I. I corrected quickly, and it turned out she was thinking poorly trimmed Irish Water Spaniel (never seen a liver curly, only the blacks). What made it worst was the next day I saw her again, and it turned out she was a newly trained CKC judge, sporting group.
When I decided to get Magda, I decided to show her, as so many people thought Rica (my black girl)was a labradoodle. The first match she went to, the junior handler who showed her was asked twice if she was a labradoodle). At regular CKC shows, we have no points (win breed everytime, only CCR), and our main job seems to be exposing people to the breed including the other exhibitors. Magda being a very friendly loving girl greatly enjoys her role as breed ambassador.
