With their stocks down nearly 50% from this time last year those who like to gamble in the market may want to start buying :)

Doberman Discussions / Re: Question about weight loss

I don't think a 10lb weight loss over 5 months, while on a diet and getting more exercise, is anything to be alarmed about. I have always been told that for dogs a pound a week is safe and healthy.

Newfoundland Discussions / Re: HELP! Clifford peed/marked in Petsmart

All my males neutered or not..neutered young neutered old...didn't matter they still marked. Mostly at stores like Petsmart where when a dog pees on the corner they don't really clean the spot well.
Good thought for everyone...nev er buy from the lower shelves at a pet store since you never know just what the bag has been soaked in :o

Medical Conditions & Diseases / Re: HELP ASAP - Kate is hurt

Then I rubbed her tummy for a while...I had to go to the bathroom and came back...she had gotten up...was standing there arched (uncomfortable) and panting again...WTH???  ???

I went and got her dog bed from upstairs...she's resting on it now...the shaking is minimal...I'm so confused...goi ng to be a sleepless night but I'm just praying she'll be ok in the morning...

Arching of the back and shaking can mean a digestive issue such as bloat. I would get her to a vet.

II don't see why you couldn't other then I think it may defeat the "weight gain" purpose. Meaning those 2 meats are on the lean side compared to hamburger.

The going rate here in Michigan for private in home is around 99.00 an hour.
I hope they do not think they can work the dog and you for 3+ hours in one session? IMO..That is way to much for an owner and to stressful on the dog.

If his weight is fine and he is healthy and happy I would not worry about it. Leave his food down for 20 minutes, what he does not eat stick in the fridge and try again at his regular feeding time.

If I could afford it I would buy a Jog a Dog in a heartbeat.
http://www.jogadog.com/

Living in MI there are days my smooth will not go out and it would be great to have her run on this instead of the back of my couch!

I am sure I could teach both my dogs to go get a pop to bring to me. The BIG BIG problem I would have with that is once they know how to open the fridge how do you ever keep food in there again? ::)

LOL...I can say I have never had a fridge raider after teahing this trick. Then again if never taught it to my old Coon Hound.

Breeze currently knows....
Go get a pop (open fridge, get pop shut fridge) Sit, come, Heel and Down (in english, german and by hand),stay, stand, flip the hip, Roll over, Dead dog, high five, high ten, rear, look pretty, find it, fetch, drop it, wait, go (one lap around the yard), get dog, leave it, back up and the name of all her toys.

May...Sit, Down, Stand, Come, heel, spin, leave it...Shes a simple mind so I don't ask much of her  ;D
