:D  Dell does the same darn thing, unless we are at his training class, then he's a big goober.  I swear, if there was a dunce cap to be handed out, he would totally be the one to wear it!  BUT, if you take him into PetSmart, he is an angel, like Bizzaro Dell.

She is beautiful!  Hey, you know what?!  I'm a great dog trainer!  How's about you let me take her and train her at my home?  I promise I'll give her back  ;)

Awww soooo cute :-* :-* :-*
I love puppies and puppie breath and puppy tummies and everything puppy :D
Now I know you really can't wait to get her home.

those are some beautiful puppies, HOWEVER, I don't love EVERYTHING puppy: the puppy poops and piddles can go! ;D  But the breath, oh the breath!  there's nothing better than puppy breath!

We had the Mean Kitty and he did manage to last about a week.  And once the stuffing is out of it, forget it!  No interest.

I will eagerly be watching the replies on this because Dell is a HUGE stuffy kind of guy, HOWEVER, he is also notorious for disemboweling them.

I, too, am concerned about him injesting the filling.  I bought him this really neat toy once that was supposed to be REALLY durable.  he didn't tear the fabric; he laid in the yard and picked at the seams with his teeth until he got a loose thread, then he tore it along the seam.

Too smart for his own good... :-\

Freaks!  That's all I can say about those women!  Why on earth would you send a pup out into the world at 4 weeks?  And I certainly wouldn't beat someone about the head, let alone with the body of a dead puppy!

Hi!  Welcome aboard!  I'm Amy and I am mom to Dell, a White German Shepherd/Lab mix.  We live in the Seattle area.

Whatever you get, I would suggest you get it from the shelter or rescue (it appears that you already plan on this. :D)

Make sure you post pics when you get your new buddy!  We're all about the pics here!

Wouldn't that be great??  We travel to Gresham about once a month so Vancouver isn't a foreign drive by any stretch.

Is there anyone else out there that you know of?

I see the some of you all are local to each other.  Is there anyone else on here from Washinton state, particularly in the Puget Sound region?

Welcome aboard.  I've been here a total of a week and a half now so I'm still very new myself.

I, too, love this site and the friendly atmosphere. Very addictive!

Do you have pics of Cooper?

Food Discussion & Information / Re: I love Canidae!!!
« on: May 19, 2006, 12:40:30 pm »
When my trainer Deborah suggested it (okay, Dell's trainer  :D) I was skeptical at first because I had not heard of it and HAD heard of Iams, but I thought I would have Dell try it.

Deborah said he would eat less and it would be MUCH better for him than Iams. The "eat less" part piqued Hubby's wallet  ;) and I wanted the best food we could possibly afford for Dell.  Hubby balked a little bit but what could he say when I toted in a 40 lb bag of it and then kept bringing it home?  LOL

We're both very happy with the results.  I cannot speak highly enough of Canidae.
