Please keep my family in your thoughts
« on: August 28, 2005, 10:17:10 pm »
I wasnt keeping an eye on the hurricane and didnt know its path or strenght till a friend Imed me and asked if I was going to be ok. So I looked it up on weather.com and realized its heading straight for my family. I am from louisana, so my whole family [except my parents nad brothers] still live there. And they live where the hurricane is going. I talked to my mother and from what she knows most of family is gone and should be safe. She is going to keep me updated on my family. I will let everyone know also when I hear something. I am really scared nad worried now  :'( Please keep them in your thoughts.

We're sending thoughts out to them and everyone else who might be hit by the hurricane.  ...

Such a scary thing to have to deal with.   :-[

Yeah I just found that thread and I have been trying to navigate through it but it is 8 pages long.   Just got the news that my 10 year old step son was Ok, he was on a cruise with his mother right smack in the path of Katrina.  I had been staying off line (dial-up) keeping lines free for him to call.  Thank God he is home safe!  We have been a wreck with worry.  The last email I got from Lisa was at around 10pm and she said she was in bad shape....I feel so bad because I didn't check me email until midnight ....now I am a wreck again!

Hi Jen,  We are ok,  I am just worried about finding Amber, (amberdoggoneit).  The last time she posted was yesterday afternoon.  I am also very worried about JJ, she is in south LA.  We will be fine I just gave Sugar Bear and Dixie a rib bone, to give them something to chew on for awhile.  All is fine here, just windy and wet.

I willb e praying for all of you.  We were watching the news on it at work and it is very frightening to see.  I cannot even imagine how terrifying it is for all of you...

It's a category 1 now with 95 mile an hour winds. I can't wait to hear from everyone in the storm. Jacksmom do you know what time you'll call, so we can check BPO.
