I free fed Judge as well. It seems to work well. He eats about 6 to 8 cups of kibble a day. He never gulps down his food he just picks all day. Plus he gets a bit of leftovers as well.

« on: January 26, 2006, 07:06:21 pm »Hi there. I am new here too so it is nice to see I am not the only one. Our family is now officially being run by Maisy, our 6 month old St. pup. She is the love of our lives and we feel so blessed to have found her. She is our first experience with the breed, but we are loving the new challenge.  She seems to be growing nicely (already nearly 80 lbs!) and so far so good with all of her training.Hi Natasha
I'd love to hear any advice or tips from the experts out there, but also would be fun swapping puppy stories with you.

I cant help with the pee problem Judge has always been quite good about peeing outside away from his play area.
The penis thing? I know all about that. Up untill I got Judge fixed his was always out in the wind for everyone to see. It also would get red and swolen. I havent noticed it at all since he was fixed.
Maybe you should talk to a trainer to see if they can give you any advice.

Thats so awfull. The next thing you know the breed will be band there too. You are not allowed to breed Pitbulls here in Ontario. Im not a fan of pitbuls myself but it is the owners who are giving these dogs a bad name. You cant just sell these dogs to anyone. Judge is fixed for this exact reason.

Im wondering if maybe you should get her a new crate? I have never crated Judge so I know anything about it but I know Judge goes in the same place outside all the time. Talking to a trainer would be a good idea too.
Chewing?? Judge chewed like a mad man but stopped around 1 year. At 8 and 9 months he was at his worst. I used to tell everyone that Judge never chewed shoes. He likes my table and head board best.
