I'm going to cloning or Dale leading training for all the other men. "I want a puppy" they need to learn not to scoff or run!

She is a total cute! I love the one black leg!

I have used Microsoft PhotoStory 3. It's a free download on microsoft.com. It's an awesome easy program to use

I've made a couple videos here's the link for one of them: http://youtube.com/watch?v=sUYJn0GVat4 My cousin had me make it for his kids.

We use it at work all the time. I wish I could post those. Everyone would have a really good laugh but unfortunately I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn't =-(

I don't think I'd have a family after something like that. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I'm thinking about you and little Naja. Give her hugs and love from Jager and I.  :-*

I wish I could hit the trails too!  :( I hope you had a great time though.

It was in the mid-70s today. Friday I think they said it will be in the low 80s. This is NOT Christmas!  >:( New Years we MIGHT be down to the 60s. So not Christmas or winter. I'm packing up and heading north!  ;)

I didn't see that episode but I'm VERY tempted to get a slip leash for correction with Jager.

I'm so glad that everything worked out!

That was great! I'm going to ready it tomorrow before dinner!

I have to say I'm laughing to hard over here I had to make a potty trip before responding. Lynn, I seriously had "run away! run away!" stuck in my head for like a week now! Now I'm going to have to watch it tonight LOL

I have to say Holly: That thing is a little creepy looking LOL  :D I'd probably go biserk too.

Alex, Jager did the same thing as Naja. I had him on his lead tied to the tree (he's got 25' to run in my yard and the neighbors driveway) while I was putting up the Christmas lights. He was okay with the lights and my little cow (screw reindeer! We have a light up cow!). My neighbor plugged in an 8' snowman and you would have thought that the ground open and the hounds of h*ll were let loose in the yard. I have NEVER heard him to upset and scared all at the same time. The little blow up penguin was bad enough at WROOWROOWROOOW ROOWROOOF but Frosty is a demon apparently. I had to help Raul fix Frosty since his sign was twisted and he was fixing the anchors, you would have thought that I was playing with 14 different dogs at one time because he was sniffing me up one side and down the other.

Kathy - I have 'friady dog when it comes to the washbasket. I've never tormented him or put him in a wash basket but that white plastic thing comes out of the laundry room and slides on the floor towards him and you would think your chasing him with fireworks.

However, I must add that while putting up the tree my mom was repotting some plants on the pool deck so I had the screen door shut so we could talk. Jager starts whimping to go potty. I have to open the baby gate between the kitchen and the living room to let him out. Well, protector-of-the-yard spots a squirrel before he even gets to the back door. Normally (sans-squirrel) he'll walk slow and bounce of the screen and look "Mom, the force field is great but I have to go!" If the glass in shut he'll stand there. Oh no. Evil squirrel caused me to plan on replacing my screen door come spring time. He ran full speed through all 16" of the living room, through the screen, around the pool and to the back fence.  >:( The squirrel wasn't the only think unwanted in the yard Saturday!  >:( I was able to fix part of it but I have about 6" of screen that isn't tucked in and the rubber gasket that doesn't fit right either. Ugh. Anyone want a squirrel chasing-screen-door-breaking-'Fraidy-Dog?  ;) He's slept pretty much since then. Guess that squirrel gave him a work out!

Groans, Gripes, Brags & Boasts / Re: GET A HOLD OF YOUR KIDS, PEOPLE!!!

I have the same problem as Stella. I have no filter or friends lol. "My mom told me to always tell the truth but I think it backfired on her." I'll tell you what I think whether you like it or not especially when it comes to my "baby." The first words that come to my mind come out of my mouth. My dad used to say I engaged my mouth before my brain.

The people at work are finally realizing not to ask my opinion or put me in confrontationa l situations.  ;D

The kids on my street taunt Jager ALL the time. They will play on our side of the street or on the little gym across the street and yell loud enough to get Jagers attention then run around. Ugh. Monsters! Then the kids down the street walk their little sh!t machine on my lawn and let it just YAP at Jager whose barking like crazy cause the little puntable fur ball dropped a load in our lawn! I wanna let Jager out just to slobber all over that thing and the kid! Jager won't leave mine or my neighbors yard but it would still be great!

One of my co-workers just had her weiner dog (thats the technical name  ;)) diagnosed as being allergic to the christmas tree. I guess they are finally justified in getting a fake one! Could there be something new brought in the house that he could be reacting to?

I really hope you find something that will work!

I'm so sorry to hear about Booger.  :'( He was VERY handsome!

It's so cliche but at least he is not in pain and you'll see him again someday.

Rottweiler Discussions / Re: I'm getting kicked out of my apartment
« on: December 18, 2007, 11:00:52 pm »
Then confront the issue- no it probably wont change anything but you have to get her unlabled as aggressive. Start looking now- you may be surprised at what might be available that is not in the hood. I know that in downtown Dallas they have these really cool loft apartments and they are not too overly priced and they advertise that big dogs are welcome. Not sure about your city, but who knows. The good news is you have 3 months and even better you know you are not going to be homeless since you do have a place to go if necessary,so turn this into a positive. I know that you were considering moving to another state, could this be the push for you to really consider that move?

I have to agree. Have her "unlabeled." I mean h3ll Jager would be taken from me by now if I lived in an apartment like that. He's not good on a leash and goes crazy when someone is in front of our house (both my fault on the lack of training lol). And I'm definately agreeing that maybe this is a push to move to a new area all together. See if there is an opening in the TN office and start looking.

I also agree with Kathy too. When one door closes another opens.
